Pure, raw, filtered, but otherwise unprocessed orange oil is hard to obtain unless you buy it in 44 gallon drums. This oil is cold pressed essential orange oil and is an amazing solvent which doesn't have the nasty bite that D-Limonene (the chemical extracted from the pulpy end of the orange oil extracting process) can have. It is often known as Orange Turpene and can be used instead of mineral turps if you are seeking a less toxic more pleasant smelling solvent. Therefore it is excellent when used in the process of making your own 'hard' carnauba wax blocks with Howard Australia's carnauba wax flakes. Available in 500 mls, one litre, 2 litre and 5 litre containers. |
